IB Classes Online for IB DP and MYP Students

Live one-on-one IB coaching for MYP (Grades 8–10) and DP (Grades 11–12), across every subject group, plus dedicated IA, EE and TOK support.
Most IB students struggle because the IB assessment system demands much more than regular school revision prepares them for, from command terms and criteria-based marking to Internal Assessments in every subject and exam papers where technique matters as much as knowledge.
Quest For Success has spent over a decade coaching Indian students through exactly that gap. Tell us the subjects, the level and the session you are sitting for, and we will start with a free consultation to find out where the marks are actually being lost.

Who These IB Classes Are For

The IB requires a unique approach to learning. We support students at every stage of their IB journey.

MYP students, Grades 8–10

MYP reports arrive as criterion levels between 1 and 8, with no percentages and no rank. Parents often cannot tell from a report whether their child is on track for a strong DP start. We teach the MYP subject content, but we also teach students to read what Criteria A to D are actually asking for, and we translate the report into something you can act on. See IB MYP classes online.

DP students, Grades 11 and 12

Grade 11 is where the workload becomes structural rather than occasional: six subjects, three at HL, plus TOK, the Extended Essay and CAS running underneath. Most students who finish with 40+ decided in the first term of Grade 11 how they were going to handle it. We build that plan with them and hold them to it. See IB DP classes online.

Students who have moved into the IB from another board

Students arriving from CBSE, ICSE or IGCSE hit different walls. CBSE and ICSE students are usually strong on content and unprepared for open-ended, criteria-marked written work. IGCSE students handle the format but underestimate the jump in depth at HL. Our consultation identifies which of these you are dealing with before the first class.

Retake and November-session candidates

We coach students resitting individual subjects in the November session, working backwards from the session date with a compressed revision plan.

IA, Extended Essay and TOK Support

The Core and the Internal Assessments are where the most predictable marks are lost, because school teachers are supervising twenty students at once and cannot give line-by-line feedback.
Every subject’s IA has its own criteria and its own failure modes. We work through topic selection, methodology, data and structure, against the published criteria.
Research question framing is where most EEs are decided, months before the writing starts.
The exhibition and the prescribed-title essay, both marked against rubrics that reward a specific kind of argument.

Who Teaches Your Classes

QFS IB faculty are subject specialists, not generalists rotated across boards. Between them they bring years of IB teaching experience, including backgrounds across Mathematics, the sciences, Economics and Language A.
Every tutor is matched to a student by subject and level. An HL Physics student and an SL Physics student are not taught the same course at different speeds; they are sitting different papers.

frequently asked questions

Both terms describe the same thing, and we do it. “Coaching” tends to mean structured, exam-focused preparation with a timeline; “tuition” tends to mean ongoing subject support. QFS IB classes combine the two: syllabus teaching through the year, then focused exam preparation from January before the May session.

QFS provides IB classes entirely online, allowing students to join live classes from anywhere. We teach students across Bengaluru, India, and internationally, including the Gulf and South-East Asia.

Rates vary widely by subject, level and whether the classes are one-to-one or group. Independent tutors are typically cheapest, institution-backed one-to-one coaching costs more, and the difference usually shows in assessment, materials and reporting rather than in the teaching hour itself. We quote after a free diagnostic so the figure reflects the actual hours required.

Yes, and it is a common reason students come to us. We teach the full syllabus independently of the school’s sequence, so a student can be ahead of, or behind, their class without it disrupting the plan.

Yes — we guide, question and review. Students write their own work. See IB Internal Assessment help and IB Extended Essay help.

For a single subject, one to two hours a week through the year, rising during IA and mock periods. For a full DP support programme across three or four subjects, five to eight hours a week is typical. The diagnostic gives a specific recommendation.

Yes, as separate courses. HL is not SL with extra material bolted on — the papers, weightings and depth are different, and HL students in most subjects sit an additional paper.

Yes, though what is realistic depends on when you start. From January before a May session, we run intensive subject coaching and revision. From March, the honest answer is that we focus on paper technique and the highest-yield topics rather than full syllabus coverage — and we will tell you that at the diagnostic rather than after you have paid.

Yes. The transition is usually less about content and more about written communication and criteria-based marking. The diagnostic identifies which is the problem.

Every class is recorded and available on the Online Classroom Portal, along with attendance and assessment history that parents can see.
