Introduction
The October 2026 Digital SAT produced the biggest SAT word list of the year, with 44 entries. Look closely and you will notice something useful: seven words appear twice. Convoluted, inadvertent, arbitrary, obfuscations, admonitions, venerations and exonerations each show up a second time in the reported list. We have merged those repeats, so the table below covers 37 unique words.
When the same word keeps coming back, treat it as a high-frequency SAT word and learn it first. Start with the repeat offenders, then work through the rest of October’s list.
Think of it as your October SAT vocab list, plus the most common SAT words to prioritise: repeated words, SAT vocabulary for Reading and Writing and a quick self-test to check what has stuck.
